A cute LBM (little brown mushroom) growing with moss on a dead log. It's about an inch high. Likely a Mycena? Monte Bello OSP.
Agaricus augustus ("The Prince"). This is a young cap with classic "marshmallow" shape; the partial veil is still covering the gills. Diameter of cap about 6 cm.

Lots of these boletes at Lost Trancos OSP in hardwood forest Nov. 09. I think this is B. regius, the red-capped butter bolete. The pores are very narrow--spongy even--and are yellow, bruising blue. Cap diameters were usually 4-6".
Russula sp. fluoresces blue when illuminated by UV light. That's the blue area right of center, and the UV flashlight itself is seen in the lower right corner. Monte Bello OSP.
