SF Peninsula Vertebrates - symbiote
Pacific ring-necked snake that was crossing the trail at Windy Hill OSP on 27Oct2012. They're very delicate, so I had to exercise extreme care in getting it onto my hand. Afterwards I helped it complete its trail crossing, none the worse for wear. Note: The general public isn't advised to pick up critters on the preserves; I was exercising Docent Privilege to do so.
